Junior Analyst

BLS Capital is looking for a part-time Junior Analyst to join the investment research team

Role

As a Junior Analyst in Investment Research, you will work closely with our investment team across a broad range of activities. You will have the opportunity to learn directly from our experienced team while contributing to our ongoing research and engagement with some of the world’s leading companies. Along the way, you will develop a strong understanding of our investment philosophy, research process, and approach to long-term investing.

Profile

You are structured, take pride in producing high-quality work, approach complex problems analytically, and have a strong flair for numbers. You are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. You are sharp, curious, proactive, and collaborative, with a good sense of humour and a willingness to support those around you.

Your key tasks will be:

·       Building and maintaining financial models and other analytical tools

·       Researching existing and potential investments

·       Project work and ad hoc tasks

Working hours will be two to three days per week (15-25 hours).

We expect you:

·       Are in your third year studying a relevant Bachelor's degree,

·       Have passion for and experience with equities, accounting, finance, and company analysis,

·       Have solid experience with Excel, and are fluent in English and Danish, both written and spoken.
