Junior Architect

Role Description The Junior Architect will support the design and development of architectural projects from concept through detailed drawings and documentation. Responsibilities include assisting in architectural design, preparing 2D and 3D drawings, contributing to presentations, and coordinating with senior team members on project details and schedules. The role involves participating in site visits, collecting and organizing project data, and helping ensure designs meet functional, aesthetic, sustainability, and regulatory requirements. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, working closely with the studio’s architects and project teams to deliver high-quality built environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) from a COA-recognized institution, with Council of Architecture registration (or eligibility)
• 0-2 years of experience in architecture, interior design, or construction projects; internship experience counts
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting working drawings and detailing
• Working knowledge of SketchUp and/or Revit for 3D modelling
• Experience with rendering tools such as Lumion, Enscape, or V-Ray
• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and/or InDesign for presentations and portfolios
• Understanding of building codes, NBC guidelines, and local bye-laws
• Basic knowledge of materials, finishes, and construction methods, with the ability to read and coordinate structural and services drawings.
• Strong portfolio showing design thinking across residential, commercial, or interior projects
• Good communication skills in English and Hindi for working with clients, contractors, and team members
• Ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and work both independently and in a team
• Eagerness to learn, take feedback, and grow with a young, expanding studio
