What they need
Company Description Bricolage Bombay operates at the intersection of architecture, cinema, new media, and urbanism, exploring mixed media as a way to rethink time and space. The studio is driven by experimentation, drawing inspiration from internet culture, new media art, and alternative realities. Team members work with materials, video art, print, spatial design, and digital platforms to develop immersive and innovative experiences. The practice also ventures into gaming, GIFs, and internet-based media, offering creative professionals the opportunity to engage with cutting-edge, cross-disciplinary projects.
Role Description The Junior Architect will support the design and development of architectural projects, from concept to detailed drawings, under the guidance of senior team members. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing design concepts, 2D and 3D drawings, presentation materials, and documentation, as well as coordinating with internal team members and external collaborators. The role involves engaging with mixed media and new media workflows as they relate to spatial design, contributing ideas that bridge architecture with digital and visual narratives. This is a full-time, on-site position based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, requiring regular presence in the studio and active participation in project reviews, site visits, and team discussions.

- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Interest in new media, visual culture, gaming, or digital art, with a willingness to experiment across physical and digital platforms.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to receive and implement feedback constructively.
