Junior / Assistant Consultant

We are looking for a Junior / Assistant Consultant Vertical Transportation (VT) to support business development, consultancy, design, audit, and client-management activities. The role involves working closely with Architects, Developers, Real Estate Management Companies, Property/Facility Management Companies, PMCs, elevator companies, and other stakeholders in the building and real-estate sector.

The position requires a combination of business development, technical consultancy, client coordination, design review, and project execution capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Sales

• Generate business opportunities for New Equipment, VT Consultancy, and Audit Services.
• Proactively identify and pursue consultancy and audit prospects through hot and cold calling.
• Develop relationships with Architects, Developers, Real Estate Management Companies, Property/Facility Management Companies, PMCs, and other industry stakeholders.
• Understand client requirements and identify opportunities for consultancy and audit services.
• Prepare consultancy proposals based on client RFPs, RFQs, and enquiries.
• Follow up with prospective clients and support successful closure of business opportunities.

2. Client Coordination & Technical Data Collection

• Interact with clients, Architects, PMCs, consultants, and other project agencies to understand project requirements.
• Coordinate with client teams and collect relevant technical and project data required for Traffic Analysis (TA) Studies.
• Maintain effective communication with clients throughout the consultancy engagement.
• Participate in meetings and discussions with project stakeholders as required.

3. Traffic Analysis & Consultancy

• Conduct Traffic Analysis (TA) Studies using customized software tools and programs.
• Attend training provided by the organization and develop proficiency in the required software and analytical methodologies.
• Prepare and submit Design Reports and other technical deliverables.
• Undertake activities required for successful execution and delivery of VT consultancy assignments.
• Participate in Design Review Meetings with clients and project stakeholders.

4. Design & Tender Support

• Prepare Field Riser Diagrams / Schematic Specification Charts / Riser Charts for client submission.
• Prepare Tender Documents and support clients during the tendering process.
• Participate in tender interviews and technical discussions with bidders along with the clients team.
• Review and check General Arrangement Drawings (GADs) submitted by elevator companies to clients.
• Provide technical inputs and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with project requirements.

5. Documentation & Record Management

• Maintain proper records and inventory of all project-related:

• Design data

• Drawings

• Schematic/Riser Charts

• Sketches

• Reports and technical documents

• Ensure records are updated periodically and maintained in an organized and easily retrievable manner.

6. Billing & Customer Account Management

• Ensure timely billing in accordance with contractual terms and project milestones.
• Follow up with clients for timely payment realization.
• Manage assigned customer accounts from project initiation through completion.
• Ensure fulfillment of contractual obligations and deliverables.
• Maintain strong client relationships and work toward achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5-6 years of relevant experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Consultancy, or related roles.
• Candidates with experience in the elevator/vertical transportation industry will be preferred.
• Experience in allied capital goods supplied to the Real Estate / Building sector will also be considered.
• Experience involving sales/marketing and back-office support is desirable.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with Architects, Developers, PMCs, consultants, elevator companies, and other project stakeholders.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Willingness to learn and work with specialized Traffic Analysis software/tools.
• Strong follow-up, coordination, documentation, and commercial skills.
• Ability to independently manage assigned clients and projects from initiation to closure.
