What they need
Company Description Gyepes és Társai Ügyvédi Iroda supports clients in turning business and technical concepts into operating assets, with particular experience in renewable energy, energy storage, real estate, and other regulated developments. The practice combines deep regulatory insight with transactional and contractual work, assisting clients across the full lifecycle of an investment from early structuring through operation. The firm focuses on delivering clear, practical legal advice in complex environments where legal, technical, and commercial considerations intersect. Team members work closely with clients and partners to address sophisticated regulatory issues and high-value transactions in a dynamic market.
Role Description The Junior Associate will work on a full-time, on-site basis at the firm’s Budapest office. Responsibilities include supporting senior lawyers in drafting and reviewing contracts, corporate documents, and transaction-related agreements, as well as conducting legal research on regulatory, energy, real estate, and commercial law topics. The role involves assisting in due diligence exercises, preparing memoranda and opinions, and contributing to the structuring of investments and projects. The Junior Associate will also help manage case files, coordinate with clients and counterparties, and ensure accurate documentation and timely follow-up. Collaboration in a team setting, participation in internal knowledge-building, and willingness to learn about complex regulated industries are key aspects of the day-to-day work.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple matters simultaneously.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Hungarian and professional proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive, detail-focused approach and willingness to take responsibility under supervision.
- Completed law degree (or in final stages of studies) from a recognized university in Hungary; prior internship or junior experience in a law firm or in-house legal department is beneficial.
- Interest in renewable energy, infrastructure, or other regulated sectors, and readiness to learn about the technical and commercial aspects of these industries.
- High ethical standards, professional integrity, and commitment to continuous development in a demanding legal environment.
