Junior Associate - Korporat

About the role

This role supports Senior Associates and Partners in handling corporate transactions, limited liability company law, investment matters (PMA/PMDN), business restructuring, and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Support Senior Associate and Partner in handling corporate transactions, limited liability company law, investment (PMA/PMDN), business restructuring, and regulatory compliance
• Assist in conducting Legal Due Diligence (LDD), including examination of company legal documents, business permits, business contracts, and company assets
• Draft various commercial agreements, company deeds, meeting minutes (RUPS/Circular), and formal legal correspondence in Indonesian and English
• Conduct legal research on latest sectoral regulations (such as business licensing, employment, data protection, e-commerce, or banking/finance) and assist in drafting Legal Opinions and legal memoranda
• Assist in managing business permits and company legality through OSS RBA, AHU Online Kemenkumham, and other relevant government agencies
• Manage archiving of corporate transaction documents and monitor status of client legal compliance

About you

• Minimum S1 degree in Law from a reputable university with good academic record
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in Corporate & Commercial Law at a Law Firm
• Completed PKPA (Pendidikan Khusus Profesi Advokat) and passed UPA (Ujian Profesi Advokat), and in process of or will be sworn in as Advocate (active KTPA and BAS are added value)
• Solid understanding of Limited Liability Company Law, contract law, investment/licensing law, and experienced in operating OSS/AHU Online systems
• Capable of legal drafting, juridical analysis, and careful legal research
• Fluent in English and Indonesian (spoken and written), especially for business correspondence and contract drafting
• High attention to detail, professional work ethic, integrity, and good time management under dynamic deadlines
