Job Opening: Senior Associate and Junior Associate

Dimaano & Lagula, a full-service law firm based in Ortigas Center, Pasig City, is currently seeking qualified and motivated lawyers to join our team. We are hiring for the following positions:

1 Senior Associate
1 Junior Associate

Senior Associate
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD)
Member in good standing of the Philippine Bar
At least three (3) years of relevant legal experience in private practice, in-house counsel, or government legal work
Litigation experience or a strong litigation background is required
Demonstrated proficiency in legal research, legal writing, legal analysis, and oral advocacy
Ability to manage client matters independently and exercise sound professional judgment
Available to begin work immediately

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct substantive legal research and draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, legal opinions, and other legal documents
Handle litigation matters, including case strategy, hearings, court appearances, and negotiations
Work closely with partners and colleagues in developing and implementing legal strategies
Manage case files, monitor deadlines, and ensure timely compliance with court and client requirements
Communicate effectively with clients, courts, government agencies, and opposing counsel

Junior Associate
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD)
Member in good standing of the Philippine Bar
At least one (1) to two (2) years of relevant legal experience
Strong foundation in legal research, legal writing, and legal analysis
Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work collaboratively in a team environment
Exposure to litigation or corporate work is an advantage, but not required
Available to begin work immediately

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in legal research and the preparation of pleadings, motions, contracts, memoranda, and other legal documents
Support partners and senior lawyers in case management, hearings, client conferences, and legal strategy
Help maintain case files, monitor deadlines, and coordinate filings and submissions
Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and government offices as needed
