Junior Attorney

About the Opportunity

Our client is a collaborative and growing boutique law firm focused on Estate Planning, Trust Administration, and Probate. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly admitted California attorney or an attorney with up to two years of experience who is interested in developing a long-term career in trusts and estates.

Unlike larger firms where work is often siloed, attorneys receive hands-on exposure to all aspects of client matters and work closely with senior attorneys throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare estate planning documents, including Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, and related documents
• Draft correspondence related to estate planning, trust administration, and probate matters
• Assist with probate proceedings, court petitions, and court appearances
• Prepare and file documents with the courts and county agencies
• Prepare real estate transfer documents, including Grant Deeds and related filings
• Communicate directly with clients and guide them through the estate planning process
• Manage matters from inception through completion while maintaining deadlines and follow-up requirements
• Assist with administrative and case management tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Active California Bar admission (or recently admitted attorney)
• 0-2 years of legal experience
• Interest in Estate Planning, Trust Administration, and Probate
• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal communication and client service abilities
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects and follow established procedures
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and PDF software
• Desire to grow long term within a collaborative firm environment
