Junior Auditor

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Junior Auditor with a minimum of 6 years of professional auditing experience to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing audit engagements, reviewing financial information, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting and auditing standards, supervising audit teams, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

Experience: Minimum 6 years of relevant auditing experience in Big Four audit firm is highly preffered

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and complete audit engagements in accordance with applicable auditing standards.
• Review financial statements, accounting records, supporting documents, and internal controls.
• Perform risk assessments and identify areas requiring particular audit attention.
• Prepare and review audit working papers and supporting documentation.
• Identify accounting, financial, and internal control issues and communicate findings to management.
• Prepare audit reports and management letters where required.
• Supervise and guide junior auditors and audit team members.
• Review the work performed by audit team members and ensure quality and accuracy.
• Communicate with clients to obtain required information and resolve audit-related queries.
• Ensure audit assignments are completed within agreed deadlines.
• Maintain professional and confidential relationships with clients.
• Stay updated on relevant UAE regulations, accounting standards, auditing standards, and tax requirements.
• Assist management and clients with audit-related recommendations and financial matters.
• Handle multiple audit assignments and clients simultaneously.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of professional auditing experience with a Big Four audit firm .
• Strong practical experience in external audit and financial statement auditing.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
• Experience in supervising and reviewing the work of audit team members.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
• Excellent communication and client-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and professional judgment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant accounting/audit software.
• Previous experience in a Big 4 audit firm is a mandatory.
• Valid UAE driving license is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field .

• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, is a mandatory and

  preferred.

• UAE audit experience and knowledge of local regulatory requirements will be an advantage.
