Job Title: Junior AutoCAD Drafter

Job Description:

As a Junior Autocad Drafter you will be responsible for assisting in creating shop drawings that
will be used for installation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting and Design: Create detailed 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
• Documentation: Prepare and update drawings, submittals, and any other AHJ required documentation as required.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other team members to understand project requirements and incorporate necessary changes into drawings.
• Work closely with our permitting team to get projects completed and permitting in a timely manner.
• Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations inthe creation of drawings and designs.
• Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on drafted drawings to verify accuracy, completeness,and adherence to project requirements.
• File Management: Organize and maintain electronic and physical files, including drawings, plans, and related documentation, in a well-structured and easily accessible manner.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with team members to clarify requirements, provideprogress updates, and seek guidance when needed.
• Learning and Development: Stay updated with the latest AutoCAD features, Codes, techniques, and industry trends to enhance drafting skills and improve efficiency.

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• AutoCAD Proficiency: Strong knowledge and experience in using AutoCAD software for creating
• 2D – 1 year working CAD experience is required.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with drafting principles, standards, and practices. Ability to interprettechnical drawings and specifications.
• Team Player: Ability to work well in a team environment, take direction, and contribute to project goals.
• Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work in a hybrid environment.
• Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, software, and industry standards as required.
