Arcady Media is a Toronto-based retention and growth marketing agency working with direct-to-consumer ecommerce brands. Email and lifecycle marketing are at the center of our work, supported by paid media, conversion-rate optimization, creative, web development, custom integrations, and a growing portfolio of technical and AI initiatives.

This is a remote role for a candidate based in India. At least five hours of dependable daily overlap with Toronto Eastern Time is required.

Role and responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day health of n8n workflows and Zapier automations: monitor runs, troubleshoot failures, make safe changes, and verify recovery.
• Investigate failed executions using logs, payloads, credentials, mappings, execution history, and downstream-system behavior.
• Build and maintain integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, API keys, pagination, retries, rate-limit handling, and idempotency.
• Support Google Workspace automations involving Sheets, Docs, Drive, Forms, Gmail, Calendar, Apps Script, and related APIs.
• Design, test, and improve AI-enabled workflow steps using prompt iteration, context design, structured outputs, validation, evaluation examples, and sensible human-review or fallback paths.
• Maintain lightweight scripts and backend services using Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Work with Supabase/Postgres, Google Cloud/Cloud Run, Docker, Klaviyo, Shopify and other business systems where relevant.
• Create clear runbooks, workflow maps, change notes, and incident summaries.
• Take internal automation requests from clarification through implementation, testing, documentation, and handoff.
• Communicate risks early and escalate complex or high-impact issues with useful evidence.

Preferred candidate profile

• One to three years of relevant hands-on experience. Employment, freelance, and substantial production-quality project experience may all be considered.
• Experience building and supporting workflows in n8n or Zapier; experience with both is preferred.
• Practical knowledge of APIs, JSON, webhooks, authentication, HTTP status codes, retries, pagination, and rate limits.
• Systematic troubleshooting habits: able to trace inputs, transformations, outputs, logs, and downstream effects before verifying a fix.
• Basic development ability in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Familiarity with SQL, Postgres/Supabase, cloud services, and Docker.
• Experience creating or improving AI workflows through prompt iteration, structured-output design, evaluation, validation, and fallback handling.
• Comfortable working in a small, fast-moving team, progressing on well-scoped work without continuous supervision, and asking for context before assumptions become risks.
• Strong ownership, documentation, and communication habits.
• Comfortable providing at least five hours of daily overlap with Toronto Eastern Time, accounting for seasonal daylight-saving changes.

What success looks like

You learn Arcadys critical workflows and business processes, take day-to-day ownership of routine automation incidents, improve monitoring and documentation, reduce recurring failures through root-cause fixes, and make AI workflow outputs more accurate and dependable.
