Junior Backend Developer

Responsibilities and Duties:

● Design, build, and maintain custom web-based applications using PHP and related

technologies.

● Develop high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code. Perform troubleshooting,

debugging, and testing of applications.

● Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to integrate user-facing elements

developed by front-end or mobile app developers.

● Consistently report work progress and challenges to the team leader. Propose

initiatives and implement solutions to enhance existing projects, improve workflows,

and optimize performance.

● Maintain high software quality standards within the team. Establish and enforce best

practices and coding habits.

● Engage in standby duty on a rotating weekly schedule, remaining accessible for

support during non-business hours.

● Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends. Apply new knowledge

to enhance project development processes.

Job Requirement:

● Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication, Science & Technology,

or a related field.

● Minimum of one year of hands-on experience in PHP web development.

● Proficiency in PHP, MYSQL, and fundamental web technologies (HTML, JavaScript,

CSS, etc.).

● Strong knowledge and practical experience with PHP MVC frameworks, especially

Laravel.

● Experience with code versioning control systems such as Git.

● Strong passion for adhering to coding standards and maintaining clean, efficient, and

well-documented code.

● Adequate knowledge of web security practices, including session management and

protection against XSS attacks.
