We are looking for a curious, motivated Junior Backend Developer who knows how to get the most out of AI tools to reinforce our tech team.

What you will do

•       Act as a member of the backend team, implementing features under the guidance of senior developers

•       Use AI tools such as Claude on a daily basis to speed up your workflow, understand new codebases faster, and translate or port code between languages when needed

•       Cover the new code with integration tests

•       Take part in pull request reviews to learn from the team and improve your practices

•       Help analyze technical problems and contribute to designing solutions, with support from more senior team members

•       Progressively take on more autonomy as you grow into the role

Who you are

•       1+ year of hands on coding experience in C# .NET or another language, with a genuine interest in backend development

•       Comfortable using AI coding assistants like Claude in your daily work, including to translate your code from one language to another

•       Good understanding of OOP fundamentals, you are ready to build on that with CQRS, .NET Core and ASP.NET

•       Basic understanding of relational databases and version control tools like Git

•       A start up, agile mindset : you are comfortable with frequent changes and thrive in fast paced environments

•       Strong communication skills with an ability to explain your reasoning in simple, businesslike terms

•       Quick learner who knows how to ask the right questions and troubleshoot independently, with AI as one of your tools

•       Fluent in English and French

•       Based in Belgium, with a valid work permit and able to work from the Brussels office in hybrid mode
