Junior Baker

About the role

Rebel Bakehouse is seeking a Junior Baker for the Baguio City branch. In this role, you will prepare ingredients and master proper techniques for mixing, laminating, and shaping dough to ensure product consistency. You will bake croissants and pastries according to established specifications, closely monitoring baking times, temperatures, and visual cues for optimal texture and color.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and mise en place efficiently for the production of croissants and other laminated dough products
• Learn and master proper techniques for mixing, laminating, and shaping dough to ensure product consistency
• Bake croissants and pastries according to established specifications, closely monitoring baking times, temperatures, and visual cues for optimal texture and color
• Oversee the sorting, quality checks, and timely dispatch of finished croissants to ensure accurate allocation across target store branches
• Maintain strict quality control, ensuring every item meets the bakery's standards for taste, appearance, and presentation prior to packing and transport
• Follow established recipes and standard operating procedures, making necessary adjustments under supervision to maintain product standards
• Collaborate closely with senior bakers and kitchen staff to support smooth daily operations and meet production schedules
• Maintain clean work stations and assist in sanitizing baking equipment to ensure a safe, hygienic environment
• Assist in monitoring ingredient stock, tracking supplies, and maintaining daily inventory levels
• Actively seek feedback, learn advanced baking techniques, and contribute ideas for new flavors, fillings, or seasonal croissant variations
