JOB TITLE: JUNIOR BAKER

Job Summary
To assist the Baker in preparing and producing bakery products while maintaining food quality, cleanliness, and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and baking bread, pastries, cakes, and other bakery products.
• Follow recipes, measurements, and preparation procedures accurately.
• Prepare and arrange ingredients and baking equipment.
• Assist with mixing, shaping, proofing, baking, and decorating.
• Ensure all bakery products meet the required quality and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the baking area, equipment, and utensils.
• Store ingredients properly and check stock levels.
• Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist the Baker with daily production and other tasks as required.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of baking is an advantage.
• Previous bakery/café experience is preferred but not required.
• Willing to learn and follow instructions.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Responsible, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
