Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of ingredients for baking, including measuring, mixing, and portioning doughs and batters
• Follow established recipes and food safety standards to produce high-quality baked goods
• Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers safely and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace in accordance with health regulations
• Support the team during busy periods by ensuring timely production of baked items
• Help with packaging, labeling, and presenting baked products attractively for display or sale
• Collaborate with senior bakers and kitchen staff to learn new techniques and improve skills

Skills

• Basic knowledge of food production, preparation, and baking techniques
• Strong interest in culinary arts with a desire to learn and grow in a bakery environment
• Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and consistently
• Good understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards
• Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm is key!
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude under pressure
• Willingness to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks involved in baking
