Junior Bartender/Barback

Duties

• Support bartenders by restocking bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages efficiently throughout shifts
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring proper cash handling and register balancing
• Prepare basic beverages and assist with beverage recipe development under supervision to enhance drink offerings
• Serve guests promptly and courteously, providing excellent customer service in both casual and fine dining settings
• Monitor bar inventory levels regularly and communicate supply needs to management proactively
• Uphold food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices at all times, including checking IDs and managing guest intoxication levels

Experience

• Previous food service or hospitality experience is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Experience with cocktail mixing, mixology techniques, wine knowledge, craft beer selection, and spirits is a plus
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy shifts
• Knowledge of beverage recipe development and food handling procedures enhances your ability to contribute effectively
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that creates welcoming atmospheres for guests
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities

Pay: $25.01 - $30.12 per hour
