Junior Bookkeeper

About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Bookkeeper to support our Finance team with day-to-day bookkeeping activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing client invoices, following up on collections and payment reminders, and ensuring compliance with BIR tax filing requirements. This role requires strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to maintaining accurate financial records.

Work Setup:

Hybrid — at least 2x a week onsite, and/or as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks and maintain accurate financial records
• Create and issue client invoices in a timely manner
• Follow up with clients on collections and send payment reminders
• Assist with BIR tax compliance and related filings
• Provide ongoing support to the Finance team as needed

About you

• Relevant experience in bookkeeping or accounting
• Solid experience in invoice creation and client collections/payment follow-ups
• Working knowledge of PHL BIR tax compliance and related filings
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Good communication skills, particularly for client-facing collection follow-ups
• Experience with QuickBooks is a plus
