Our accounting team supports UK-based clients with bookkeeping, accounting, reporting, payroll, VAT, and other financial operations. We focus on providing accurate, timely, and reliable accounting support to our clients.
This position is based at our Hetfy Accounting Outsourcing Solutions LLP office in GIFT City, Gandhinagar.

Job Overview:
We are looking for a Junior Bookkeeping Officer with 1–3 years of experience to support the day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities of our UK-based clients.
The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of basic accounting, strong attention to detail, and hands-on experience with accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks. Experience with UK accounting is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record daily financial transactions, invoices, expenses, receipts, and payments.
• Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with UK VAT returns, MTD, payroll, and other accounting requirements.
• Prepare and maintain monthly and quarterly financial reports.
• Work on accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks.
• Use Microsoft Excel for reconciliations, reports, and financial data.
• Maintain accurate and organised client records and accounting documents.
• Coordinate with senior accountants and internal teams for client requirements.
• Communicate with UK-based clients when required.
• Complete assigned work accurately and within deadlines.
• Follow company accounting processes and quality standards.

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
• Experience with UK accounting will be an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of UK VAT and MTD requirements.
• Good working knowledge of Xero and/or QuickBooks.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Experience working with UK clients or in an accounting outsourcing company is an added advantage.
