Junior Business Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team in Ernakulam. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and communication skills, an interest in understanding business processes, and the ability to coordinate effectively with clients and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and document business requirements through discussions with clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare business and functional requirement documents.
• Coordinate with development, testing, and project teams to ensure requirements are clearly communicated.
• Analyze existing business processes and suggest improvements.
• Assist in preparing user stories, use cases, and workflow diagrams.
• Participate in requirement discussions and project review meetings.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and verify that delivered solutions meet business requirements.
• Maintain requirement documentation and communicate changes to relevant teams.
• Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.

Skills and Qualifications

• 6 months to 2 years of relevant IT industry experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and project management or documentation tools such as Jira and Confluence is preferred.
• Ability to understand business needs and translate them into clear requirements.
• Good teamwork, organization, and interpersonal skills.
