Junior Buyer

Key Responsibilities

• Source new products, suppliers, and potential brands for the retail business.
• Research products, pricing, suppliers, and market trends.
• Request and compare supplier quotations and product offers.
• Assist in negotiating prices, terms, minimum order quantities, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and purchasing documents.
• Monitor orders, deliveries, and product availability.
• Maintain accurate product, supplier, pricing, and purchasing records.
• Use Excel to prepare purchasing reports, price comparisons, inventory monitoring, and other analyses.
• Coordinate with suppliers, warehouse, inventory, sales, and other departments.
• Assist in identifying products that may improve the store's assortment and sales.
• Perform other purchasing and administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
• Fresh Graduates are highly encouraged and welcome to apply.
• At least 1 year of experience in retail buying, purchasing, procurement, or a related field is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas, sorting, filtering, and data organization.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Willing and proactive in sourcing products and exploring new suppliers.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge or interest in retail products, consumer trends, and merchandising is an advantage.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
• Willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced retail environment.
