Junior Buyer

We are working with a client in the construction sector who is looking for a motivated and organised Junior Buyer to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in purchasing and procurement, supporting live construction projects and working closely with suppliers, site teams and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Source materials, plant and services for projects.
• Obtain supplier quotations and raise purchase orders.
• Track orders and coordinate deliveries.
• Process supplier invoices and resolve queries.
• Liaise with suppliers, site teams and accounts.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience in purchasing, accounts payable, invoice processing or administration is desirable.
• Construction or building materials experience is an advantage.
• Good Excel, numerical and organisational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
