Junior C++ Embedded Systems Engineer

About the Opportunity

A growing defense technology company in Bucharest is expanding its embedded systems team and is looking for a Junior C++ Embedded Systems Engineer .

This is an opportunity for recent graduates and junior engineers with 0-3 years of experience to work on real-world embedded and real-time systems in a multidisciplinary environment combining software and hardware.

You will join an experienced engineering team, take part in meaningful technical projects, and work directly with international clients.

What You'll Do

• Develop real-time and embedded software applications in C++
• Work with CMake as the primary build system
• Develop and troubleshoot software in multidisciplinary hardware and software environments
• Contribute to system integration and engineering activities
• Work with Linux-based development environments
• Gain exposure to web technologies and REST APIs
• Travel internationally to client sites as part of project activities

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Strong understanding of C++ and Object-Oriented Programming principles
• Fluent Romanian and English
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary engineering teams
• 0-3 years of professional experience - recent graduates are welcome

Nice to Have

• Experience working in Linux environments
• Familiarity with CMake
• Exposure to web development or REST APIs
• Experience with embedded or real-time systems
