Junior Care Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Junior Care Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities

• Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility to promote independence and comfort
• Support the implementation of personalized care plans tailored to each individual’s needs and preferences
• provide any personal care assistance that may be required.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance residents’ quality of life
• Communicate effectively with team members, residents, families, and external healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
• Maintain accurate documentation of care activities and any changes in residents’ conditions using IT system.
• Follow health and safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe environment for everyone

Experience

• Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to listen actively and convey information clearly
• Basic IT literacy for completing documentation and updating care records electronically
• Valid driving license and experience driving safely in various conditions are advantageous
• Ability to work as part of a team while also demonstrating independence when needed

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 36.0 per week
