Junior Category Manager

At Boutiqaat , we’re looking for a Junior Category Manager to join our team and help drive category growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. In this role, you’ll work at the intersection of product assortment, purchasing, supplier relationships, inventory planning, and marketing category transform business objectives into impactful commercial results.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Drive Category Performance

• Support category plans, assortment reviews, product selection, pricing, and margin optimization.
• Analyze market trends, competitors, customer demand, and sales performance to uncover new opportunities.
• Contribute to sales forecasts, budgets, promotions, and initiatives that drive category growth.

Build Strong Supplier Partnerships

• Coordinate with suppliers and support the evaluation of new brands and product opportunities.
• Assist with commercial negotiations through cost analysis, market benchmarks, and performance insights.
• Follow up on purchasing requirements, orders, deliveries, pricing, and product availability.

Keep Products Moving

• Monitor inventory levels, replenishment needs, and product availability to maintain the right balance of stock.
• Identify slow-moving products, excess inventory, and potential stockout risks, supporting actions to improve sell-through.
• Track key category KPIs, including sales, margins, inventory, and supplier performance, and recommend corrective actions where needed.

Bring Categories to Life

• Support promotional campaigns, product launches, brand visibility, celebrity partnerships, and digital initiatives.
• Coordinate brand content and digital assets to ensure products and brands are presented effectively across digital platforms.
• Prepare category reports, highlight trends and opportunities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver commercial plans on time.
• Contribute ideas that improve reporting, automation, and operational efficiency.

What You Bring to the Table:

• A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in category management, purchasing, merchandising, or a related commercial role.
• Experience supporting product assortment, supplier coordination, purchasing, inventory management, or commercial activities.
• Good understanding of category management, forecasting, pricing, margins, inventory planning, and profitability.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn sales, inventory, and supplier data into actionable insights.
• Proficiency in ERP, purchasing, or inventory management systems, BI and reporting tools, and MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
