Junior Civil Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Kuching, Sarawak. This full-time position will play a crucial role in supporting our civil and structural engineering projects, contributing to the growth and success of our company. This role also required flexibility of outstation / travelling / stationed at required project site when necessary. Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply.

What you'll be doing

• Assist Project Manager in monitoring project work progress and reporting.
• Prepare daily / weekly/ monthly progress reporting and update work program in a regular basis.
• Participate in site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, project managers, and construction personnel
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, standards, and regulations
• Perform routine maintenance and updates on engineering documents and project records

What we're looking for

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• 0-2 years of experience in civil/structural engineering, preferably in construction site background
• Knowledge of design principles, construction methods, and project management techniques
• Proficiency in using Microsoft office and engineering software, such as AutoCAD
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
