Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and responsible Junior Civil Site Engineer to join our contracting team in Dubai. The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day site activities, coordinate with site teams and subcontractors, monitor work progress, and ensure construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising daily civil and fit-out activities at project sites.
• Review architectural and civil drawings and assist with proper execution of works.
• Coordinate with supervisors, foremen, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor site progress and report updates to the Project Engineer.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor workmanship.
• Assist with measurements and quantity verification of completed works.
• Coordinate material requirements with the project team.
• Assist in preparing site reports, progress updates, and other project documentation.
• Coordinate with QA/QC personnel for inspections and required approvals.
• Assist with preparation and submission of Inspection Requests and other site documents.
• Identify site issues and coordinate with senior engineers for suitable solutions.
• Assist with snagging, rectification, testing, handover, and project close-out activities.
• Ensure site activities are carried out in accordance with project safety requirements.
• Perform other duties related to site engineering as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant site experience is preferred.
• UAE construction or fit-out experience is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site practices.
• Ability to read and understand architectural and civil drawings.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to work at project sites and coordinate with different teams.
• Ability to learn quickly, follow instructions, and work as part of a project team.
