What they need
About the role
We are looking for a junior CNC Milling Programmer to join our precision engineering team.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare CNC milling programs using Mastercam 2022
- Read engineering drawings and plan machining processes
- Select suitable tools and toolpaths, referring to existing programs where applicable
- Check programs through simulation before releasing them for machining
- Work with setters to resolve programming issues and improve machining processes
About you
- Basic knowledge of CNC milling and Mastercam
- Able to read engineering drawings
- Willing to learn tool selection, cutting parameters and machining methods
- Careful, responsible and willing to learn from existing jobs
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. GMI CNC machining graduates and final-year students are preferred
- Practical Mastercam skills will be assessed during the interview
