Junior Consultant - Part-time

Context

The Consultant will support a leading investment firm’s Sustainability team on ESG-related activities across Secondaries & Primaries, Private Credit, and Co-Investment strategies, with a particular focus on sustainability market intelligence, portfolio support, and client-facing ESG materials. As the role is part-time and external to the firm, it requires a high degree of autonomy, analytical rigor, and strong communication skills.

Missions

• Independently contribute to ESG due diligence questionnaires and ongoing ESG reporting for investors and clients
• Prepare and review client meeting decks, ESG reporting materials, and marketing documentation
• Ensure consistency, accuracy, and clarity of ESG messaging across deliverables
• Support portfolio-related ESG activities, including:
  • Data collection, quality checks, and analysis
  • ESG reporting and performance tracking
  • Preparation of ESG case studies and internal briefing notes
• Contribute to the production of sustainability market intelligence documents (e.g., market trends, peer analysis)
• Contribute to the preparation and coordination of sustainability workshops, webinars, and knowledge-sharing initiatives
• Support the development of ESG presentations and training materials for investment teams

• AI tools and concepts (good proficiency is a plus)

Working Conditions

• Workload: 2.5 days per week
• Indicative duration [to be confirmed]: June 2026 to end of January 2027
• Consultant is expected to be available to work on-site at the firm’s premises in Paris
• Proposal shall include (1) curriculum vitae of the proposed consultant, including relevant project experience and (2) man days rate
• Proposal will be evaluated based on candidate profile, availability, and price. Candidates are expected to be interviewed prior to selection

1. Prior professional experience (e.g., consulting, asset management, ESG advisory, sustainability roles)
2. Demonstrated interest and solid understanding of sustainability, ESG concepts, and sustainable finance
3. Good knowledge of ESG regulations and frameworks
4. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to manipulate data and work on complex, evolving topics
5. High level of autonomy, reliability, and ability to manage deadlines independently
6. Excellent written and oral communication skills in French and in English, with the ability to produce clear, structured, and client-ready materials
7. Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to analyze data, structure insights, and produce clear, high-quality presentations
8. Good proficiency in AI tools and concepts is a plus
9. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
