Junior Contract Administrator

This well-established commercial builder delivers high-quality projects across the Sydney market, specialising in retail and commercial refurbishment works. With a strong pipeline of repeat business, they are continuing to grow and are seeking a Junior Contract Administrator to join their team based in Parramatta. Working alongside experienced Project Managers, you'll gain exposure to a variety of commercial projects ranging from $100K through to $3M across multiple sites throughout Sydney.

Your new role:

As a Junior Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of multiple fitout projects from procurement through to completion.

Your duties will include:

• Assisting with subcontractor procurement and scope preparation
• Issuing purchase orders and subcontract agreements
• Reviewing quotes and comparing subcontractor pricing
• Processing variations and tracking project costs
• Assisting with progress claims and payment schedules
• Maintaining project documentation and contract records
• Liaising with site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
• Supporting Project Managers with financial reporting and project administration
• Attending project meetings and site visits across Sydney as required

What you'll need to succeed:

• 1-3 years' experience in a Contract Administration, Project Coordination or Construction Administration role
• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
• Exposure to commercial construction, fitout or refurbishment projects
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• High level of organisation and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Full Australian working rights
