As a Junior Cost Control Engineer , you will be responsible for monitoring, tracking, and reporting project costs across our facilities management projects. You will ensure that operations and sites remain within budget, analyze variances, assist with cost forecasting, and support commercial and operational teams to optimize cost performance.

You will play a key role in tracking daily site expenses, evaluating subcontractor cost proposals, assisting in invoice verifications, and updating financial tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control operational costs for FM contracts, projects, and sites.
• Follow budgets, cost plans, and forecasts in coordination with finance, operations, and commercial teams.
• Analyze cost variances, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Review purchase requests, contracts, Quotations and invoices to ensure cost compliance and budget availability.
• Prepare periodic cost control reports, including cost-to-complete, savings, and risk exposure.

Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Construction Engineering.
• 1–2 years of experience in cost control or quantity surveying, preferably within Facilities Management (FM) or Construction/Contracting.
• Strong knowledge of cost structures, budgets, and financial controls.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (ODOO).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Female candidates are preferable.

Nice to have

• Experience in FM, construction, or multi-site operations.
• Knowledge of contract costing and pricing models.
• Experience driving cost optimization and efficiency initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills.
