Junior Dat Analys (Entry-Level / Junior)

Role Description This is a part-time, remote Junior Data Analyst role designed for entry-level talent seeking hands-on experience in data analysis. Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting and organizing data from various sources, cleaning and validating datasets, and assisting in the creation of basic reports and dashboards. The Junior Data Analyst will support senior analysts by running simple queries, performing exploratory data analysis, and preparing visual summaries for internal stakeholders. The role also involves documenting processes, maintaining data accuracy, and collaborating with team members to ensure that insights are clear and actionable. This position offers mentorship and opportunities to grow into more advanced analytical responsibilities over time.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess foundational data analysis skills, including comfort working with spreadsheets, basic statistics, and exploratory data review.
• Candidates should possess technical aptitude, such as familiarity with data tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, or introductory SQL) and a willingness to learn new software and analytics platforms.

• Relevant education such as coursework or a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field is beneficial.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar), internship experience, or personal projects demonstrating analytical work is a plus.
