Junior Data Analys

Role Description This part-time remote Junior Data Analyst role supports academic and administrative teams with data-driven insights related to civil construction programs and activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various internal sources, maintaining databases, and preparing basic reports and dashboards. The Junior Data Analyst will assist in performing descriptive and inferential analyses, building simple data models, and helping interpret results for non-technical stakeholders. The role also involves documenting analysis processes, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with faculty or program coordinators to provide clear visualizations and summaries that inform decision-making.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and foundational Data Analytics capabilities.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Statistics and basic Data Modeling techniques.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to present findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with tools such as Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with SQL, Python, or R is an advantage.
• Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Candidates should possess or be pursuing a degree in Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
• Candidates should possess an interest in the construction or infrastructure sector; prior academic or project experience in these areas is a plus.
