Junior Data Analyst

Position: Junior Data Analyst

Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior Data Analyst to support our FMCG business by analysing sales, distribution, inventory, and operational data to generate accurate insights that support effective business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

· Collect, clean, validate, and analyse sales and operational data.

· Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports.

· Track sales targets, actual performance, growth, and variances across territories and channels.

· Analyse distributor, customer, product, and SKU performance.

· Monitor stock levels, product movement, and distribution trends.

· Prepare dashboards and reports for management decision-making.

· Identify sales trends, gaps, and opportunities from available data.

· Support the Sales and Finance teams with accurate data and reports.

· Maintain accurate databases and ensure data integrity.

· Provide ad-hoc analysis and reports as required by management.

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.

· 0–2 years' experience in data analysis, preferably within an FMCG, retail, or distribution environment.

· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis.

· Knowledge of Power BI or other data visualisation tools is an advantage.

· Good understanding of sales and business performance metrics.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

· Good communication and reporting skills.

· Ability to work with large volumes of data and meet deadlines.
