Junior Data Analyst

Title: Junior Data Analyst / Data Problem Solver

Job Description:

We’re looking for a curious, resourceful junior data analyst who enjoys jumping into unique problems and figuring out how to solve them. This role will support the data team by analyzing information, identifying opportunities, documenting business requirements, and helping develop practical data solutions.

The ideal candidate is comfortable asking questions, learning new tools, and using AI tools such as Claude to research ideas, propose solutions, build requirements, and accelerate analysis and development. You don’t need to know everything—you need to be willing to dig in, experiment, and figure things out.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze data and investigate unique business questions and problems.
• Work with stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into clear business requirements.
• Use Claude and other AI tools to explore solutions, develop requirements, and assist with analysis and technical work.
• Support dashboards, reporting, data processes, and other data-team projects.
• Identify data issues and help develop practical solutions.
• Jump into ad-hoc projects and new challenges as they arise.
• Document findings, requirements, processes, and proposed solutions.

Ideal Candidate

• 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, business analysis, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Comfortable working with Excel and preferably SQL and/or BI tools.
• Curious, self-directed, and willing to learn.
• Comfortable using AI tools to research, brainstorm, and accelerate work.
• Able to take an ambiguous problem and turn it into a structured plan.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
