Job Title: Junior Data Engineer (Work From Home)

We are looking for a Junior Data Engineer to help build, maintain, and improve reporting and dashboards across the organization. This role is ideal for early-career data analysts or junior data engineers who enjoy turning data into clear, actionable insights and want hands-on exposure to real-world BI systems and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in building, maintaining, and enhancing dashboards and reports using BI tools such as QuickSight, Power BI or Looker

• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate data from databases

• Support regular and ad-hoc reporting requests from business stakeholders

• Work with data from operational systems such as Jira to support performance, workload, and delivery reporting

• Help document data definitions, report logic, and dashboard metrics

• Perform basic data validation and troubleshooting to ensure data accuracy

• Collaborate with senior BI analysts or data engineers on data models and reporting solutions

• Learn and follow best practices for data governance, security, and version control

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field

• 0–2 years of experience in a reporting, BI, analytics, or data-related role (internships count)

• Working knowledge of SQL (basic joins, aggregations, filtering)

• Basic experience with Python for data analysis or automation

• Hands-on experience with at least one BI or reporting tool such as Power BI, Looker, Tableau, or similar

• Experience with Excel for analysis and reporting

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

• Good communication skills and ability to explain data findings clearly

Nice to have:

• Knowledge or experience in AWS services, Amazon Connect, QuickSight, Power BI, ETL frameworks, cloud certifications
