Junior Data Operations Analyst

The role The Junior Data Operations Analyst role exists because data is often disorganized, especially when a business is growing quickly or moving between systems. We are currently helping a regional infrastructure development firm in Jeddah that is managing a wide range of large physical projects. This client has a massive amount of information flowing from construction sites, financial offices, and vendors, and they need it to be accurate. In this entry level position, you will help our team trace this information, verify its accuracy, and document the workflows that keep it moving. This is a fully remote role where you will learn how business systems actually function by getting into the details of the logs and records.

What you will do

• Audit daily system logs to make sure data from field reports matches the figures in the central database.
• Identify specific points where manual data entry is causing errors or delays in reporting.
• Update and maintain internal documentation so that the client team knows exactly how to follow the new processes we build.
• Cross reference data sets from different departments to flag inconsistencies for the senior analysts.
• Conduct basic testing on new system logic to ensure that information is routing to the right person at the right time.
• Participate in large scale data cleaning tasks to remove duplicates and fix formatting issues across the system.
• Draft clear and simple summaries of operational problems we find and the steps taken to fix them.
• Monitor the health of data pipelines during the first few weeks after a new process goes live.
• Help organize historical records to ensure that past project data is accessible and correctly categorized.

What we are looking for

• A logical mind that enjoys taking apart a complex problem to see how the pieces fit together.
• Basic familiarity with Excel, including the ability to use simple formulas and organize large sets of numbers.
• A high level of attention to detail that allows you to spot a missing entry or a small error in a long report.
