Junior Design Engineer

About Greenbrier Greenbrier is a leading U.S.-based manufacturer of railcars, with a growing presence in Europe – including our European HQ in Amsterdam, three R&D centers in Slovakia, Poland, Romania and three production sites across Poland and Romania.

Job Summary We are looking for a Junior Design Engineer to join our engineering team in Świdnica and support railway projects. In this role, you will work with 3D models, technical drawings and documentation, while developing your engineering skills and gaining experience in railway design.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare 3D model, design drawings, technical documents,
• ensuring optimal design solutions for projects,
• compliance with internal and system procedures, knowledge and compliance with standards and regulations,
• support in testing and the approval process.

Your Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience: Previous experience in engineering or railway design would be an advantage, but is not required.
• Hard skills:
• Proficient in CAD Systems,
• Prepare 3D model, design drawings, technical documents,
• Ability to search for industry standards for wagons.
• Soft skills:
• Intermediate to advanced English language skills
• Proficiency in using MS Office
• Driver's license (B)
• Good communication skills, team player.
