Junior design engineer (M/F/D)

We are looking for a Junior design engineer who is passionate and wants to play a key role in a company that is shaping a sustainable future.

Role Description: 

• Prepare detailed electrical design projects for small-scale sites developed in-house.
• Act as the primary representative for administrative tasks—physically submitting applications, tracking document progress, and collecting official permits and approvals from relevant state and municipal institutions, as well as DSO.
• Prepare and compile the necessary technical documentation packages required for utility grid connections and municipal legalization procedures.
• Assist the Head of Design in reviewing and verifying technical documentation, Bill of Quantities (BOQs), and specifications submitted by external design subcontractors for larger projects.
• Provide technical clarifications to the internal Technician Team and Construction Manager during site installation. Prepare and update "as-built" documentation upon project completion.
• Maintain an organized internal database of all technical drawings, utility correspondence, and approved permits.
• Perform technical site surveys for new EV charging infrastructure and assess existing sites for grid connection upgrades and capacity expansion

Requirements:

• Education: Master’s degree in Electrical Power Engineering, or currently in the final year of pursuing a Master's degree is strictly required.
• Experience: Prior internship or similar experience in electrical design is considered a strong asset.
• Software: Working knowledge of AutoCAD (for 2D drafting of electrical plans, single-line diagrams, and layouts), MS Office.
• Regulations: Basic familiarity with Bulgarian construction and energy regulations (SDA/ЗУТ, relevant ordinances)  is considered a strong asset.
• DSO & Municipalities: Familiarity with legalization and grid-connection procedures with Distribution System Operators (DSOs) and local municipal administrations  is considered a strong asset.
• Mobility: Active Category B driving license and readiness to travel locally to physically submit, track, and collect project documentation from various institutions (Municipalities, DSOs, environmental inspectorates, etc.).
• Languages: English working proficiency (ability to read technical documentation, equipment specifications, and navigate software interfaces).
