Not “a ticket queue”, an actual component with your name on it. You’ll start by learning [component name]. Then you’ll fix its bugs and extend it. Within a few months, you’ll be the person the team turns to when someone asks, “How does this work?”

What you’ll do

• Fix bugs and ship features in your component
• Strengthen its test coverage where the risk is highest
• Investigate production issues with real logs and data
• Make background processing safe and reliable
• Keep the component’s documentation honest

You’ll fit in if you

• Have a CS degree
• Write clean Python and understand relational databases
• Think defensively: “what if this input is empty, duplicated or hostile?”
• Want depth in one area more than a shallow tour of everything
• Solid fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, relational databases, how HTTP and REST APIs work
• Clear written communication in English. You’ll write PR descriptions, ticket updates and short design notes.

Where you’ll be in 90 days: you've contributed to one of our core products and shipped your own feature in it, and your tests are catching things before they reach production.
