Redplanet Spatial Solutions India Private Limited is looking for a passionate and technically strong junior developer with 1–2 years of experience to join our technology team.

If you have hands-on experience in GIS, open-source GIS technologies, software development, APIs, databases, and modern web/mobile frameworks, we would love to hear from you.

Position
Junior Developer – GIS Open-Source

Experience
1–2 years of professional experience

MUST-HAVE SKILLS

GIS / Open Source GIS - Mandatory hands-on experience with GIS / geospatial technologies
Experience with open-source GIS platforms and tools
Understanding of spatial data and GIS concepts
Experience working with spatial databases/geospatial APIs will be an advantage.

Backend Development

Python, Java, FastAPI, REST APIs

Web/mobile development

React.js, React Native, TypeScript, JavaScript

Database

PostgreSQL, SQLite, SQL queries, and spatial database experience is an added advantages

Additional Skills

Android Studio
Kotlin
Gradle
Git

Additional Advantage

Experience in any of the following will be an advantage: iOS Development, Swift, Kotlin, Server Management, Docker, Linux, CI/CD Pipelines
