Junior DevOps Engineer

We’re looking for juniors and fresh graduates who are interested in starting their career in DevOps. In this role, you’ll build practical experience with cloud-native technologies, automation, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code while learning from experienced colleagues and contributing to real projects.

YOUR MISSION:

• Support the containerization of applications, tools, and websites and help deploy them to Kubernetes
• Assist with building and maintaining solutions on major cloud platforms
• Learn how to create scalable infrastructure using modern cloud and serverless technologies
• Gain hands-on experience across the DevOps and cloud lifecycle, from development and deployment to operations and monitoring
• Help develop and maintain monitoring and metrics for Kubernetes clusters
• Collaborate with IT, engineering, and business teams to understand requirements related to functionality, performance, security, scalability, and integration

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to role, level, location, effort, responsibility, skillset, and level of experience. The range of base pay for this role is 1.450 € - 2.120 €

WHO YOU ARE:

• Recent graduate or early-career professional with an interest in Kubernetes, cloud technologies, and DevOps
• Basic understanding of containers and Kubernetes gained through university studies, internships, training, certifications, or personal projects
• Foundational programming or scripting skills in at least one language, such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Basic familiarity with a cloud platform or a strong motivation to learn cloud administration and development
• Understanding of core DevOps concepts, such as continuous integration and delivery, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud service models
• Any practical exposure to technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Git, PowerShell, Bash, or Python is an advantage
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or a related field, or currently completing the final year of relevant studies
• English at active communication level (B2 or above)
• Fluent Slovak (C2 level)
• Eagerness to learn, solve problems, and collaborate in an international team
