Junior DevOps Engineer

Requirements :

1. Minimum 1-3 years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, experience in the Fintech or high transaction application is a plus.
2. ⁠Familiarity with linux command, containerization (Docker) and a basic understanding of orchestration concepts (Kubernetes).
3. Experience track record as a DBA for PostgreSQL or MySQL, including backup/restore strategies, replication, and bottleneck resolution.
4. Understanding of CI/CD concepts and version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins).

Responsibilities :

1. ⁠Assist in deploying and maintaining cloud infrastructure, and help manage basic resources within Kubernetes clusters under the guidance of senior engineers.
2. Support basic Database Administration (DBA) tasks for PostgreSQL/MySQL (such as monitoring, basic backup/restore, and query optimization).
3. Help monitor and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and reliable software releases.
4. ⁠Assist in implementing observability practices, including checking system logs, monitoring dashboards, and responding to basic alerts.
5. ⁠Support the configuration and maintenance of our API Gateway ecosystem (e.g., Kong API Gateway) and basic traffic routing.
6. Collaborate and learn from the Security and Engineering teams to apply best practices and ensure the infrastructure aligns with strict industry regulations.
