Junior Digital & Social Media Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day social media content, scheduling, and engagement across the company's channels.

• Content Creation & Storytelling

• Capture photos and short-form videos during selected company programmes, events and activities.

• Create and edit Reels, Stories, short videos and simple digital graphics for social media.

• Write captions and adapt content appropriately for different digital platforms.

• Turn programme activities, destinations, participant experiences and behind-the-scenes moments into engaging digital stories.

• Maintain and organise company's photo and video content library for future use.

• Ensure content reflects company's brand, outdoor education approach and programme experiences appropriately.

• Provide dedicated digital/social media coverage during peak season (“Musim”), when demand is highest

• Support broader digital marketing activities as directed by the marketing/saleslead.

• As the role develops, support and eventually help manage the company's digital booking platform — a growth area for this position.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Good working ability in English is required.

• Genuine interest and basic working ability in social media management and digital content creation.

• Comfortable working across two languages relevant to company's client base (dual-language communication is an advantage).

• Organised, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a small team.

• Open to learning new tools, including booking/reservation platforms, as the role grows.

Experience with some of the following digital skills would be an advantage:

• Canva

• Davinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut or similar video-editing tools

• Meta Business Suite

• Instagram, Facebook and TikTok content management

• Basic photography and videography

• WordPress or other content management systems

• AI-assisted content creation and productivity tools
