Junior Digital Designer

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Digital Designer to join our design team in a fast-paced fintech environment. You will work closely with senior designers to support the creation and adaptation of digital assets across our fintech, crypto, trading, and financial campaigns.

Key responsibilities:

• Support senior designers with the creation and adaptation of digital marketing assets.
• Design smaller creative assets such as banners, social media graphics, promotional visuals, and campaign elements based on established creative direction.
• Adapt existing artwork into different formats, sizes, and placements.
• Make design updates and revisions based on feedback.
• Assist with preparing assets for websites, landing pages, social media, digital advertising, and EDMs.
• Apply translated copy to existing campaign artwork for Portuguese (PT), Spanish (ES) and potentially other languages.
• Ensure localized artwork remains consistent with the original creative direction.
• Perform quality checks across different language versions before submission.
• Assist senior designers with digital and UI design tasks for websites and landing pages.
• Take ownership of assigned design elements and smaller deliverables.
• Support larger projects while working under the guidance of senior designers.
• Stay up to date with digital design and UI trends.
• Additional tasks as requested by the direct manager and senior designers.

To succeed in this role, you bring:

• 1–2 years of experience in graphic design, digital design, or a related creative role.
• Strong foundation in graphic and digital design principles.
• Good understanding of typography, layout, composition, colour, and visual hierarchy.
• Basic understanding of UI/UX and digital design principles.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly when working with multiple language versions.
• Ability to follow creative direction and established brand guidelines.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Driven by continuous learning and development.
• English fluency is mandatory. Spanish and/or Portuguese necessary. Trilingual designers will be prioritized.
• A portfolio showcasing digital and graphic design work is required and applications or resumes without it will not be considered.

Technical Skills

Essential

• Working proficiency in Figma.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Basic understanding of digital artwork production.

Preferred

• Experience designing landing pages or websites.
• Basic knowledge of wireframing and prototyping.
• Familiarity with UI components and design systems.
• Experience working with multilingual or international campaigns.
• Basic After Effects or motion design knowledge.
