Junior Digital Marketing Associate

Job Summary

This is an execution and coordination role. You are the person who makes sure everything that was planned actually goes live, on time, across every client account we run.

Strategy and creative direction come from the team. Your job is to turn that into a calendar, chase every dependency, publish on schedule, and flag anything that looks off before it becomes a problem.

What You Will Do

Social Media Calendar and Publishing

• Build and maintain the monthly social media content calendar across all client accounts and Wonkrews own channels
• Track every post from brief to design to approval to publish, and know the status of each one at any given time
• Schedule and publish content across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and other client channels using our scheduling tools
• Verify posts went live correctly: right caption, right hashtags, right format, right time
• Maintain the content bank and asset library so nothing gets lost or duplicated

Coordination

• Work with Surendar and our freelance designers to make sure creatives are briefed early and delivered on time
• Follow up on pending approvals from clients and internal reviewers before deadlines slip
• Keep the founder updated on what is on track, what is at risk, and what is blocked
• Maintain clear task records so nobody has to ask where something stands

SEO Content Publishing

• Track the SEO content pipeline: what is written, what is in review, what is scheduled, what is published
• Publish and format blog content on client websites (WordPress and custom CMS)
• Check basic on-page items before publishing: title tags, meta descriptions, headings, internal links, image alt text
• Follow up with writers and reviewers to keep publishing cadence on track

Ads Monitoring

• Check active Google Ads and Meta Ads accounts on a regular schedule
• Monitor spend pacing, budget exhaustion, disapproved ads, dropped ad sets, and sudden cost or performance shifts
• Flag anything that needs a decision, with the numbers attached, not just a general observation
• Maintain simple performance trackers so month-on-month movement is visible at a glance

Reporting

• Pull weekly and monthly performance data across social, SEO, and ads
• Prepare clean, consistent client reports using our existing formats
• Keep dashboards and trackers updated so reporting is never a scramble at month end

What We Are Looking For

Must have

• Strong organisational instincts. You track things without being reminded to track things.
• Comfort with spreadsheets and structured data
• Clear written communication in English. You will be writing captions, briefs, and status updates.
• Attention to detail. Typos, wrong dates, and missed posts are the failure modes of this role.
• Willingness to follow up repeatedly and politely until something is done
• Basic understanding of how social platforms, search, and paid ads work

Good to have

• Hands-on experience with a social scheduling tool
• Exposure to Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, or Search Console
• WordPress publishing experience
• Basic Canva or design coordination experience
• Tamil and English fluency, since some client accounts are local
