The group is made up of 5 divisions that all work in conjunction to provide a comprehensive range of materials handling solutions across a range of industrial, multi-story & high-rise construction projects.

The Role

An opportunity has become available for a Junior Draftsman. You will need great organisational & communication skills, be able to adapt to changes quickly, work well under pressure and help to maintain & continue to build upon the excellence of our team.

Key Requirements

• Have Experience in AutoCAD

  • Should have good familiarity with common AutoCAD commands.
  • Can work in model space & paper space.
  • Can scale & import objects.
  • Can use & modify blocks (& dynamic blocks – better).

• Familiarity of 3D Cartesian Space

  • Cosmo draw 99% in 2D, but the candidate must understand how drawn items relate to the 3D world around it.

• Current technical & engineering literacy

  • Have a general understanding of how cranes move or work.
  • Have a general understanding of building construction & engineering.

• Ability to learn new drafting concepts & techniques that may be unorthodox.

  • The short term goal is to assimilate oneself to the current Cosmo drafting model.

Skills & Attributes

Full training will be provided along with support from the Drafting Team for the right candidate.
