Job Description: Junior Draughtsman – Production Drawings

Department: Design / Production

Reporting To: Manager – Production Drawings

Experience: 1–4 Years

Job Summary:

The Junior Draughtsman – Production Drawings will be responsible for preparing and assisting in all types of initial and production drawings based on approved designs and site measurements. The role requires good proficiency in 2D AutoCAD and working knowledge of loose furniture, millwork, and interior components to support factory and site execution.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs):

1. Initial Production Drawings

• Prepare all types of initial production drawings needs to be created according to the designer’s specifications along with accurate measurements
• Develop detailed working and shop drawings under guidance of seniors.
• Ensure drawings are accurate, clear, and follow company standards.

2. Interior & Furniture Drawing Scope

• Prepare drawings for:

• Loose furniture

• Millwork (Paneling, Ceiling Works, Doors, Windows, Wardrobes, Kitchens and Vanities)

• Follow approved designs, specifications, and detailing instructions.

3. Measurement & Coordination

• Understand and study site measurements and design inputs.
• Coordinate with engineers and production teams for clarifications.
• Revise drawings as per feedback from seniors, s or factory.

4. AutoCAD Drafting Skills

• Proficient in 2D AutoCAD.
• Prepare layouts, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings.
• Maintain proper layout & layers, dimensions, scales,

5. Factory & Execution Support

• Support factory and site teams with drawing clarifications.
• Assist in updating drawings during production and execution stages.
• Help minimize errors by accurate drafting and revisions.

6. Documentation & Quality Control

• Maintain drawing records, revisions, and documentation.
• Ensure timely submission of assigned drawings.
• Follow drawing standards and quality guidelines.

Educational Qualification:

• Diploma / ITI / Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or Civil Engineering (preferred).

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Accuracy and quality of drawings prepared.
• Timely completion of drafting work.
• Reduction in drawing-related errors.
• Responsiveness to corrections and revisions.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
