Junior Electrical Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Initial Responsibilities

• Coordinate with project teams to ensure smooth execution of electrical projects.
• Follow up with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of project activities.
• Track project progress and ensure adherence to project schedules and timelines.
• Prepare project status updates and coordinate with all concerned departments.
• Assist in planning, scheduling and execution of assigned electrical projects.

Subsequent Responsibilities

• Conduct regular shop floor rounds to monitor electrical systems and ongoing activities.
• Support preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Assist in installation, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company procedures.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure smooth plant operations.
• Maintain project documentation and electrical maintenance records.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in project coordination and/or industrial electrical maintenance.
• Good knowledge of electrical systems, motors, panels, industrial wiring and basic troubleshooting.
• Strong coordination and follow-up skills with vendors and internal teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work on the shop floor and handle field activities.
