We are looking for a Project Lead Substations to support large-scale high-voltage infrastructure projects within one of Belgium's most strategic energy environments. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the expansion and modernization of the electricity transmission network while working on complex engineering projects that directly support the energy transition.

As a Project Lead, you will be involved in high-voltage substation projects (380kV, 220kV, 150kV, 70kV and 36kV) throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing projects from concept and definition through execution and final close-out
• Participating in technical studies, engineering design, and project development
• Performing calculations and supporting technical decision-making
• Developing and managing project budgets, schedules, and resource planning
• Preparing tender documentation and supporting procurement activities
• Leading and coordinating site execution activities
• Managing contractors, suppliers, internal stakeholders, and customers
• Monitoring project progress and ensuring effective reporting
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards

Depending on your level of experience, you will either manage projects independently or receive support and coaching from senior project professionals.

Your Profile

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or equivalent through experience
• Strong interest in technical infrastructure and engineering projects
• Experience in project management and/or site supervision is considered an advantage
• Fluent French is required
• Knowledge of Dutch is a strong asset
• Interest in the energy sector and energy transition projects
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• High sense of ownership and accountability
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Customer-oriented mindset with strong assertiveness
• Team player with a proactive and solution-focused approach
